Enjoy the Game of Life!
I'm pretty sure we all have played a board game or two with friends
and family in the past. It's a fun and enjoyable way of spending time
with people we love and also getting to know new ones. Although we
sometimes take it a little too seriously and become competitive, we
still find it much easier to laugh at our own mistakes and forgive
other’s mistakes. Do you ever wonder why that is? I believe it
is because of our knowing that it is a temporary setting (to have a
good time) and that what happens at the game doesn’t really make
or break us. At the end of the game, we all come back to being who
we are in our regular life. We keep our sense of who we are before
the game, during the game and after the game.
Life is like a game. If we want to enjoy and have fun in this 'Game
of Life', we need to approach it in a similar detached manner as playing
a board game. No matter how long or short our lives may be, it's probably
not even a fleeting moment to the truth of who we are as eternal beings
of spirit. However, in the 'Game of Life', there's only one team; therefore,
we are all in the same team. When we are unaware of who we are and
that we are all fellow teammates, we end up holding on tightly to the
roles we are playing in 'Life' and competing with our own teammates,
creating discord, chaos, disharmony and a loss of the collective objective.
If we truly want to enjoy being in 'Life', we need to play cooperatively
creating peace, harmony and joy in unity. Then we no longer need to
fuss over who wins or loses; all victory and loss becomes 'Ours’ in
the League of Humanity.
Namaste. ~"The God in me greets the God
in you. The Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you"
