Meditation for self observation..to be present, to BE
People often ask me how to meditate so I've decided to guide you through
a simple one that anyone can use to get in touch with oneself.
Here's how:
1. Start by sitting comfortably or lying down so you back is straight
(this helps with the energy flow). Close your eyes and and take three
deep breaths. Return to breathing normally.
2. Focus on your breathing.. Be aware of the breath coming in and the
breath coming out. Feel the air coming in through your nostrils and
going out. Feel your belly rise and fall.
3. Imagine that you’re the breath traveling through your body.
Focusing on your breath, feel your body.
4. Startiing from your feet, feel and notice your feet touching and
connecting to the ground (earth).
5. Move up through your legs, hip (always pay attention to all the
bones, joints, muscles, arteries, veins, nerves and skin...everywhere)
6. Move up further and feel all the organs, spine, lungs and your heart.
Feel your shoulders, arms and hands.
7. Come back up to your neck and your head, your brain, sensory organs,
scalp, hair...pay attention to all the details. No need to judge or
figure out your feelings; just be there and be present to notice, to
acknowledge, to appreciate, to love, to forgive, to be open so LOVE
can flow and connect every part.
8. Feel this life (LOVE-connection) within moving through your body
waking every cell and every particle of your body.
9. Now imagine your body being surrounded with a luminescent light
body. Feel this light body merging with your physical body as one.
As you become one with your light body, your physical body becomes
lighter, vibrating at a higher frequency.
Start with 5 - 10 minutes in the beginning, going through the body
rather quickly so you can remain present throughout rather than getting
caught up at any one place too long. (This can cause unnecessary thought
processes which would be the opposite of what you’re trying to
do.) You’re practicing how to be present and also learning to
be in your body comfortably. If you find yourself drifted, then just
bring your focus back to your breath and continue. It’s not about
being enlightened from the first sitting :)
With more practice, you will be able to do this longer with full presence,
feeling comfortable and loving. You will be able to observe your self
without getting sucked into all those thought “bubbles” that
can bring about negative feelings towards yourself and even others.
You will notice that a lot of those “bubbles” are just
big hooplas of nothing, big hot air balloons full of hot air looking
impressive but with no importance to who you are. What happens to hot
air balloons when there’s no more heat generating hot air? They
collapse and fall flat. That’s what thoughts are like. Paying
attention to them is to feed your energy to them to rise, to live.
This process depletes your energy. Pay no mind to them and they just
dissolve on their own. As you become mindful of your thoughts, there
will be less and less of your un-conscious consent to thoughts to feed
off from you.
Each time you meditate, you raise your vibration higher and your connection
to your light body helps you connect to the SOURCE, the CREATOR...
then your true self will be known to you.
I sincerely hope it helps you in your inner journey where you will
find everything you seek wihin you.
Namaste. ~"The God in me greets the God
in you. The Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you"
