Stir up and Spring into Action!
When I stand before God at
the end of my life,
I would hope that I would not have a single
bit of talent left,
and could say, "I used everything you gave
me."

Spring is here!
Wow, spring sure seems to have sprung out of nowhere. Birds are
singing, trees are blooming and there’s a sweet taste in
the air. Do you ever wonder how they know it’s springtime
when they certainly don’t have calendars telling them so?
They’re tuned in with their own nature of being, their design
by nature. They neither complain about less than optimal weather
or environmental conditions, nor analyze them. They make the best
of what they have, do what they do and be what they are.
This brings an interesting analogy for us. Are we in-tune with
our own nature? Do we know what our Divine Blueprint is? And how
do we find out who we are, what we are and why we are here?
The answer is simple but could be challenging. We need to become
our own observer by turning inward. As an impartial observer, we
can notice how our attentions are constantly driven out by our
preferences of likes and dislikes based on senses, feelings, emotions
and thoughts.
When we actively pursue our inner journey through meditation and
prayer, we become aware of our inner truth and start seeing our
disillusionment. We see how we judge everything around us including
ourselves based on our own preferences we have come to acquire
throughout our lives. We need to step out of these bounds by dispelling
ourselves from the limited beliefs we have set upon ourselves.
Following
our bliss doesn’t mean merely satisfying our appetites
for pleasure. Bliss is not based on some fleeting happy moments.
We tend to link happiness with what we ‘think’ we enjoy
doing. However, staying within confines of our comfort zone never
fosters growth. The real inner growth comes when we challenge ourselves
and extend our experiences beyond what we’re familiar with.
Even our natural talent needs to be constantly re-defined. That’s
how da Vinci, Shakespeare, Einstein, Beethoven and other great
people made history with their talent. Every one of us is here
to go through our own uncharted water before us.
Are you satisfied with just being a creature of habit? Or, would
you like to experience the exhilaration that comes from overcoming
your challenges and discovering new heights of yourself? If your
choice is the latter then what are you waiting for? Shake out the
cobwebs of your waking dreams, step up to your challenges and spring
into action for the new discovery of ‘YOU’!
